Team Harvest has successfully completed seven years of fruition with 14 issues enriched with visions, perspectives, perceptions and viewpoints. We look forward to greater readership and academic contribution in the years to come.
This particular issue is almost wholly based on scientific reports, views and observations. The contributors range from Post Graduate students and teacher trainees to eminent scientists and administrators, both serving and retired. The involvement and contribution of teaching faculty members has always been a constant factor. And this issue is no exception.
We are ever grateful to the Directorate of Forests, Government of West Bengal for their unending support and cooperation to our young researcher in her study of mangroves in the coastal areas of South 24 Parganas. The result is a comprehensive publication of the particular project in this Volume.
